As I was plotting out the final few scenes just now, I came to a horrible, horrible realization.

This is only Book One. There's an entire Book Two, which details the actual conflict with the Lord of Nightmares and his eventual defeat.

Oy. The amount of work that The Return of Deacon Dread is going to have to undergo before it's safe for public consumption is just kind of... scary to contemplate.
